No Smoking On Board does a brilliant job recreating the sounds of 60′s Surf Music. They’ve created the label for their debut self-released album “Boards and Bikinis”. This amazing album blew us away the first time we heard it and it just keeps getting better with time.
Reverb springs and Surf Music were mentioned in the project briefing but the springs wouldn’t work in such a small scale, so the design process took a different direction and we were inspired by the motel signs of the 60′s.
